This lake has 31 swims - 8 of these are on a central island accessed by a footbridge.  There are six other islands plus many other features giving each swim an individual feel.  Best bag of 135lbs was caught by Mike Smith of Warmley.

The banks of the Match Lake are steep creating a good depth of water tight to the features.

The Match Lake is planted with trees, native shrubs, bullrushes, irises and lily pads.

The lake is heavily stocked with a mixture of carp - common (to 10lbs), mirror (to 10lbs), grass, koi, crucean; tench (to 5lbs); golden tench; bream (to 5lbs); skimmer bream; roach (to 1.5lbs); rudd; golden orfe; chub; perch.

A paddle aerator is used in this lake to keep it open and fishable during even the coldest frosts in winter.
